Mudgeon, an ancient Manor House which was mentioned in the Doomsday book is Grade 2 listed and the cottage is believed to date from the early 17th Century.
The large kitchen diner is equipped to a high standard including a microwave, fridge/freezer, washer/drier, and dishwasher.
Adjoining the kitchen is the large sitting room with the original inglenook fireplace complete with the old bread ovens. Now it has a wood burning stove for cosy nights by the fire.Both these rooms are open beamed. There are DVD and video players, both rooms have large night storage heaters. A pine staircase leads to four spacious bedrooms with co-ordinating duvets bed drapes and curtains.
The master bedroom has an Edwardian bedroom suite with en-suite shower room. The second double bedroom has a four-poster bed. There is also a family bathroom upstairs.
Bed linen and towels are included in the weekly rate. There is parking for three cars and a boat.
