Situated close to sandy beaches and the New Forest.

168 Stanpit is an ideal holiday home. It was designed and built by an architect for his own use to take full advantage of an exceptional site overlooking Christchurch Harbour. Peaceful and secluded, set well back from the road, it is ideal for windsurfers, dinghy sailors and those just wanting a quiet spot to 'get away from it all' for a while
The single storey property has its own slipway and mooring at the end of a long lawn sloping down towards the waters edge. The Garden is separated from the shore by a three foot high wall and gate. Garden furniture is provided.

House and Grounds
A sheltered patio at the top of the lawn is ideal for sunbathing, behind it, the south-west facing wall of the long (23 feet) front room of the house is double glazed along its entire length, the huge windows providing panoramic views across the harbour and river estuary towards Hengistbury Head beyond.

The sitting room, with harbour view, has a three seater couch, a reclining chair, a comfortable bed settee with full mattress, a dining and chairs for six, booksheves. Sky television and DVD player.

The main bedroom, with harbour view, has twin beds, cupboards and shelves and a music centre.

The adjacent large kitchen, furnished with a kitchen table and chairs, is fully equipped with gas cooker, fridge, automatic washing machine, food blender, microwave and iron.

The separate bedroom at the rear of the house has 2 three foot beds. The bathroom has toilet, bath, basin and shower.

Bedding utensils etc.
The kitchen is fully equipped with saucepans, utensils etc and there ate more than eight sets of crockery and cutlery. There are many single duvets plus ample pillows and blankets but bed linen is not provided.

Power and heating.
Hot water and central heating- if you should need it in this warm sheltered spot- is provided by a modern gas-fired boiler. Gas and electricity charged are included in the rent.

There is a parking space for one car in the courtyard, adjacent to the kitchen window. There is unrestricted car parking on the roadside right outside the house.
