TILLEY'S COTTAGE 4* CHARACTER CART SHED WITH SEA VIEWS & SUNSETS. In the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. Sleeps 2-6. Pets welcome. Near St Davids.
Near to the to coast path and Porthgain Harbour. Five miles to St Davids.
Formerly a traditionally built Welsh stone cart shed, Tilley's Cottage has been extensively & sympathetically refurbished to the Visit Wales Four Star standard. Described by our visitors as 'cosy, spacious and full of charm', Tilley's provides very comfortable accommodation with thick stone walls keeping it warm in winter and cool in summer. Set in a peaceful rural location, the Cottage enjoys stunning sea and countryside views, and spectacular sunsets. There are breathtaking countryside and coastal path walks on your doorstep as well as quick and easy access to two lovely beaches.


The Cottage is accessed through an outer stable door and an inner door leading directly into the spacious lounge-dining room. This room has vaulted beamed ceilings, stone walls, slate flagstone floor, woodburner, and the original stone arch which was once the entrance to the cart shed. Adjoining this room is a well equipped handmade pine fitted kitchen with sea views from the window.
The three bedrooms (a double, a twin and a bunk) are furnished in a simple cottage style. They all benefit from having comfortable beds with good quality mattresses & bedding, and large built-in cupboards. The double room has lovely sea views.
The newly refurbished family bathroom comprises a full suite plus an excellent, extra large walk-in power shower.
Outside Tilley's is a gated courtyard parking area for 2 cars, and to the side is a lawned garden bordered by traditional Pembrokeshire banks. There is also a decking area and picnic table with lovely sea views (perfect for taking in sunsets!). The lean-to stable on the end of the Cottage houses the oil boiler, a barbeque, the larder freezer and washing machine. Bed linen is supplied free of charge. Heating and hot water are supplied via an oil fired boiler, with fully controllable electric radiators in the bedrooms. The first £15 of electricity is provided and is usually plenty for a week,(should you need to top up there is a £1 coin meter).Oil and ample logs are provided free of charge. Well behaved pets are welcome by arrangement at no extra cost. Book early as many Tilley's visitors return year after year. Booking terms are £100 cheque deposit followed by the balance 1 month before your holiday begins.
