Seaside Cottage - 4 day break May 18th now only £200
Seaside cottage full of beams and ingelnook fiireplaces - 1 minute from the harbour
18th century cottage, a really traditional seaside home. Completely restored, but all the character has been retained. Ceilings all made from old ships beams.
On entering the cottage you go into a large comfotable lounge complete with an ingelnook fireplace and a wealth of beams.
Lounge leads off to a kitchen/diner where you will find all the modern appliances to make life comfortable - more beams and an ingelnook where they used to smoke the fish in years gone by.
All the downstairs is tiled which is great if you have dogs and sandy children!!
Upstairs there are 2 bedrooms - a twin with an ensuite shower room, & a double with a posted bed and an ensuite bathroom.
Cottage has full central heating so is cosy all year and the thick cob wall make it cool in summer.
Small front outside area where you can sit and enjoy the 'cafe culture' of Fore Street.
Located in a 'for access only 'road - you can park and unload outside cottage. We included a parking permit for our carpark on the promenade - 5 minutes walk away.
Fore Street is one of the oldest streets in the town and links the High Street with the harbour area. The street is full of small restaurents and pubs where you can find a great variety of food to sample.
The door of the cottages is orginal and is one of the only iron studded doors remaining in the town.
A great holiday location, really in the hub of the holiday area. Fore Street is the road of restaurents with traditional pubs serving great snacks, down to Italian, Spanish Tapas, French style and great places for fish right on the doorstep! The bustling harbour is one minutes walk away.
Ilfracombe is becoming the place to eat with Damien Hurst's very special harbourside tapas bar and restaurent where you can sample great food and great art 2 minutes walk away.
A great place for a traditional seaside holiday !!
