Puerto Rico is approximately 30 miles from the airport. It is probably the most sophisticated tourist development in Gran Canaria. It has a crescent of fine golden sand shelving gently to the sea and looks on to a colourful yacht Marina.
At the heart of the resort is a swimming pool set in sub-tropical gardens and leading to the beach. There is a playground area for children and facilities for tennis, bowling, miniature golf, water skiing, windsurfing, scuba diving and sailing and an aqua park. A golf course is situated about 5 miles away. There are a variety of beach bars, restaurants and supermarkets, discotheques, cabaret and flamenco shows.
A regular and inexpensive bus service operates to Playa Ingles, Las Palmas and Puerto de Morgan. Coach tours to all parts of the island can also be booked at the tourist agencies.

A supermarket and the bus stop are approximately 100 yards from the apartments.
All apartments have satellite TV with English channels.
