Villa Casasol - 500 m walk to lagoon, beach, restaurants of Cabanas Village
Casasol is a 40 minute drive from Faro Airport in the district of Tavira and countryside of the Eastern Algarve where vines, orange, olive, fig and almond trees are cultivated. The villa is 500 metres from the Ria Formosa Lagoon and the holiday and fishing village of Cabanas de Tavira, with three 18 hole golf courses, one within a 5 minute drive.
The lovely detached villa is comfortably and attractively furnished and sleeps 6 people, plus a cot for a baby. It has three bedrooms, one with double bed and en-suite bathroom, and two twin-bedded rooms, with a further separate bathroom. All bedrooms have ceiling fans. The fitted kitchen is well-equipped with marble work-surfaces, electric oven and gas hob, electric extractor fan, a large fridge/freezer, microwave/grill, dishwasher and washing machine. The large combined dining-room and lounge has satellite television, a modern fireplace with wood-burning fire,two gas fires and electric radiator for cooler weather. The double patio doors lead onto a shady covered terrace and sunny garden which is ideal for al-fresco meals.
The colourful, Mediterranean-style garden, with outside lighting, a new poolside BBQ, sun-loungers and garden furniture, has a spacious tiled patio surrounding the large private L-shaped swimming-pool which is illuminated at night. The length of the pool is 10 metres. The width is 7 metres at the shallow end and 4 metres at the deep end. The pool is gently graduated to a maximum depth of 2.5 metres, with wide tiled steps leading into it, and a shallow end 1 metre deep for children or non-swimmers. A secluded roof-top terrace is ideal for private sunbathing and views of Cabanas.
Changeover day is Saturday during School Holidays, but is flexible during other dates throughout the year. Maid service is provided twice a week, with a weekly linen change. Gas, electricity and pool service is included and there is a local manager nearby.

Comments: Winter 2011 and early Spring 2012 rentals of over 3 weeks are charged at £300 per week plus an additional £50 per week for utilities. There is an initial provision of gas bottles and seasoned logs for the wood-burning fire supplied by Casasol.Please contact me for further details. There is a refundable security deposit of £100 per fornight during this time. The rental for a single week is £500 per week respectively. Changeover Day during School Holidays is Saturday. For other dates during the year, changeover day can be flexible.
