This is the real Spain. Casa Maria is a traditional Spanish house situated near to the village of Santa Gertrudis which is a beautiful little village centred around the local church.. Here there are some excellent tapas bars and it's the best place on the island for trying the Serrano ham. There is a small shop and bar used mainly by the locals just 200m from the villa but in Santa Gertrudis you have a selection of bars and restaurants , a bank , a doctors , a couple of shops and a church. Beaches are within a 10 minutes drive .There are two excellent restaurants Ama Lur and Es Caliu situated just 1 km from the villa. The town of Santa Eulalia is situated just 6km away where you will find one of the blue flag beaches and Ibiza Town is only 8 km away.
