Our delightful Tilley's Cottage is open all year. Cosy and warm in winter, cool and comfortable in Summer. Tilley's is a traditional 250 year old detached long cottage with Welsh stone walls and vaulted beamed ceilings.It is in a peaceful rural location with stunning sea and countryside views, and spectacular sunsets. There are breathtaking countryside and coastal path walks on your doorstep.
Described by our vistors as 'cosy, spacious and full of charm', Tilley's has 3 bedrooms and is furnished to high standards.
The Cottage is accessed through an outer stable door and an inner door which leads directly into a large and very spacious lounge-dining room. This room has vaulted beamed ceilings and the original stone arch at one end. Adjoining this room is a well equipped handmade pine fitted kitchen with sea views from the mini breakfast bar.
The three bedrooms (a double, a twin and a bunk) are furnished in a simple cottage style. They all benefit from having comfortable beds with good quality mattresses and bedding, and large built-in cupboards. The double room has lovely sea views.
The family bathroom comprises a full suite plus a walk-in shower, along with ample shelving for toiletries.
Outside Tilley's is a gated courtyard parking area for 2 cars, and to the side is a lawned and part fenced, part banked garden area with a picnic bench(and lovely views!). There is a lean-to stable on the end of the Cottage which houses a barbeque, a larder freezer and a washing machine. Bed linen is supplied free of charge. Heating and hot water are electric (fully controllable heating in all rooms plus extra storage heaters in the lounge-diner) The first £15 of electricity is provided and is usually enough for a week,(should you need to top up there is a £1 coin meter). Well behaved pets are welcome at no extra cost. Book early as many Tilley's visitors return year after year. Booking terms are £100 cheque deposit followed by the balance 1 month before your holiday begins.
