Casa Azelia is set in a small friendly hamlet amidst the olive groves and fields of golden sunflowers on the fringes of Cortona. The large one bedroom apartment has been carefully renovated preserving many of its original features such as terracotta tiled floors and chestnut beams. An ideal base for exploring the delights of Tuscany and Umbria - Florence, Assisi, Siena, Montepulciano and Perugia are all within an hour's drive; and Lake Trasimeno, with its beaches, islands and ancient hilltop villages is only twenty minutes away. There is a good rail network and the station is approximately half a mile away.
