Pinethwaite House :
Pinethwaite House is a spacious holiday home, ideal for families. It comprises: Entrance hall: Impressive high ceiling living room with superb Lakeland stone fireplace with Log burning Stove
( also electric heaters ) and huge windows overlooking the gardens and woods. The Master bedroom has a double bed on a unique first floor Minstrels' Gallery built within and overlooking the living room.
The Second bedroom also on the first floor, with twin beds has magnificent views through the woods to distant fells. ( The main bedroom has room for a cot and the second bedroom has room for a cot or a Z bed.)
A child safety gate is fitted to the top of the stairs.
Kitchen with Dishwasher, Washing machine, fridge freezer,
Bathroom (ground floor) with bath, handbasin, WC.
Birch Cottage:
Two bedrooms and a living room with a Lakeland stone fireplace and large French window, Integral Kitchen. The unique Main Bedroom is split level, with a 4ft built-in bed on a gallery with a dressing area below which has room for a cot. The bed may not be suitable for those much taller than 6ft so as an alternative, one of the living room settees quickly converts into a comfortable 4'6' double bed. The Bedroom has a curved pine timbered ceiling with a velux window, offering a view of the night sky whilst lying in bed!
Second Bedroom has 2' 6' bunk beds, and a fine outlook into the woods.
Quarry tiled Shower room with large Shower, hand basin, WC.
Larch Cottage:
This cosy, compact two bedroomed cottage which adjoins Birch Cottage, has a Porch shared with Birch Cottage and a quarry tiled Entrance hall;
Living room with large French window opening directly onto the secluded garden, electric fireplace, The Main bedroom with double bed and room for a cot.
The Loft bedroom has twin beds, its window looks out into the woods.
Access to this bedroom is by fixed vertical 'Lancashire loft ladder', so it is probably unsuitable for the under sixes or over sixty-sixes!
